KEVIN: A Home Alone Birthday Surprise

When your dad's name is Kevin and his birthday is in December, you throw him a Home Alone themed birthday dinner! How we never thought of this before is beyond me. It all started with this sweater that Taylor found a few days before Thanksgiving. We knew we had to get it for Mom.

Then I stumbled upon some Harry & Marv Home Alone boxers at Target and took it as a sign. So I put together little Elf packages for the family that were Home Alone themed (for kids & adults) and began planning the birthday party to wrap it all together. 

We booby-trapped the house with Kevin's battle plan including a guest appearance by Michael Jordan. Served all of Kevin's favorites including his very own cheese pizza. We even had his favorite pal, Fuller, to chug Pepsi before bedtime. And of course the Home Alone soundtrack was on repeat.

The kids absolutely loved helping set up the house and pretending to be the robbers, and the adults enjoyed a classic holiday favorite coming to life.
