A Weekend Getaway: Cinci Trip

Back in February, I bid on a Cincinnati Package at the Harvey Browne Trivia Night fundraiser. It had all of the things to do in Cinci bundled into one big trip of fun. This summer we used our zoo tickets as well as our aquarium tickets. The overnight portion was supposed to be for Ryan & I to enjoy together sans kids. Reds game, dinner at Prism in JACK Casino, and a night at the Hyatt. 

Well we had a little mix up with our sitter at the last minute but couldn't rebook the trip. So I decided to take a little road trip with Aspen instead of let it go to waste. I have taken Adelaide on so many getaways, but Aspen had never been away with just mommy. He had an absolute ball. He called it the best dinner and day of his life! He was such a little gentleman from start to finish too. 

We enjoyed a Reds came albeit the rain. We had some snuggle time before dinner. We had a fun "limo bus" ride to dinner. We indulged in a wonderful dinner date. We had bedtime cuddles. We had breakfast in bed/room service which he thought was the coolest. And we finished up by watching Casper in our pjs before heading back to Lou. 

This is definitely a trip that we both will remember for years to come!
