Brighton Kevin: Cake Smash

In keeping with tradition, we began Brighton's birthday party morning with a little cake smash session. I love that we have been able to use my parents' front yard as the back drop for the kids' birthday fun. It is such a gorgeous setting that requires literally no set up. Just a themed cake and a precious baby!

With all of the challenges our family has been facing lately, I wanted to do a few photos of the kids as well as the five of us. I like to keep the session about the birthday boy/girl, but I also wanted to get the sibling love on camera. (Natosha came highly recommended and she was amazing! She captured everything we wanted and more!)

Brighton was a wiggle worm and crawling all over the yard. He was so fast that it was serious teamwork to get him to sit still for a few shots! Until the cake came of course ;) He went right for the fire flames and chocolate logs. He was a little gentleman about his eating and was quite meticulous making clean up pretty simple!

Little Brighty-boo is all smiles especially when there is cake to be had!
