Sister Act: A Broadway Musical Review

I got wind that Wednesdays are matinee day down on Broadway and since mom & I already planned to hit up the city, I figured we should check one out. So we scored tickets to see Sister Act the week she was in town.

Starring Raven-Symone, the musical was every bit as witty and entertaining as the movie from way back when.

They served wine in thess little sippy cups which I thought was way cute. Mom enjoyed a nice chardonnay while I munched on M&M's.

The show seemed to fly by which generally means audience captivation. From the opening act to the closing scene, the crowd was roaring with laughter as the cast provided jokes of all kinds seeded in the plot.

If you have a chance to go see this wonderful Broadway show, I highly encourage it. We really enjoyed spending the afternoon in the city with a touch of art.

**Additional perk, as we were leaving the play, we saw Adam Sandler as he was coming out of his taping for the Late Show with Dave Letterman. He flashed us the peace sign like it was no big deal.
