The Vow: A Movie Review

I.love.movies. No surprise there. I.am.emotional. Again not a surprise. So often times when I combine the two, it can make for an out-of-mind experience. If that makes any sense at all to you. I have this way of inserting myself into the movie as one of the characters. And somehow I literally feel the emotions. It is freaky and odd and exhausting quite honestly. Especially in the romance flicks. **I realize this all sounds crazy btw.

For example, I had to be physically carried out of the movie Titanic when I saw it in theaters. It was like I was Rose and felt the pain of losing Jack. So when The Vow came out, I was a little nervous about seeing it. Channing Tatum gets me every time with the way he portrays his character and makes any woman fall for him. And Rachel McAdams is beyond brilliant in every film she has ever starred in. But despite the dramatic plot line and it being based off real life events, I just couldn't pass it up.

So how far would you go to make your spouse fall in love with you all over again? Even when they don't even remember who you are? Leo (Tatum) faces this question after a severe car accident leaves his beloved wife, Paige (McAdams) without her memory. As he tries to recreate the love and the memories they shared, she struggles to remember her new life. The vow: to love you and no matter what challenges may carry us apart, we will always find a way back to each other.

But is it possible to fall in love with a stranger twice?
