Danbury Railroad Museum: A Pumpkin Ride

Sunday I took the kids up to Danbury, CT to the Danbury Railway Museum for a ride to the pumpkin patch. I took Adelaide back at Easter time and she had such a great time that I thought we would go again.

We took a ride on an old train to the patch where a plethora of pumpkins waited to be picked by little hands. Apple cider and cookies were served as well. Adelaide climbed on the hay barrels and picked her pumpkin in a flash. She managed to lug the big thing all the way back to the train! Noting that it was "hevy" along the way.
