Friday late afternoon/evening we had 3 happy hour engagements...all work related. Edwards' farewell roast went surprisingly well and all hits were above the belt. No one wanted to see him cry so we had to keep it civil ;) Apres work, we headed to Jillian's for happy hour to include apps, drinks, and more roasting.
Ryan & I then made a pit stop at Pete's Tavern for the SEC hh to circulate and promote the Tennis Tailgate to be held on Thursday evening of the tournament. We caught up with Tom & Patty regarding UK basketball, Derby, and the Royal Wedding.
Then we jetted over to the Olympic Club to meet Carla & Dave for drinks and dinner. O Club is my newest <3 as it has tennis & golf in the city as well as on the coast. How do you beat playing on clay with the ocean breeze and the city lights in the background? Oh did I mention that they have a 36-hole course as well as a 9-hole course? Plus they are hosting the U.S. Open Golf next year...
We mixed & mingled at the O Club city location before heading across the street to a fabulous dinner. Ending the evening with a walk home, we felt like adults living in the city!
Saturday we slept in then headed to Muir Woods for a hike. I'd like to say we got an early start, but I'd be lying. I nagged Ryan for a bit to get him up and running ;) After a brisk hike down to Stinson Beach along the Tennessee Valley trail, we drove up to Sonoma.

Ah they do have beaches here ;) |
Our first wine shipment at BR Cohn was ready so we stopped to taste their new selections as well as snack on delicious artichoke parmesan dip with crackers. As the winery was closing down, we were just getting started with our evening portion.

My kind of Saturday... |
We met up with Steph Tsang on Union Street. She was fresh in from Aussieland for some final wedding details. We dined at our fave Marengo on Union (sigh and thoughts to E & B) and followed up with dessert at another must American Cupcake. A quick drive to Oakland to drop her off and home to bed.

Sunday I had the pleasure of helping out with the USTA NorCal 10&U Quickstart tennis tournament. These kids are adorable. They are so little and their love for the game inspires me. Bank of the West Classic honored the sportsmanship winners with a little bank bear and a pair of tickets to the Monday night session of the tournament. I got to present to the little tike winners which was so cute.

We had a late afternoon household sessions of chores such as laundry and grocery shopping then headed to the 5:30pm service at Notre Dame des Victoires. And we all know that a Sunday night would not be complete in our lives without a Chipotle dinner :)
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend as well!
