While January felt super long, February began and took off quickly. I felt like I was scrambling to get all of our Valentine fun in during the 14 days. As the kids are getting bigger, I’m starting to find more holiday-themed activities for us to do. I also love getting themed snacks to mix up the usual mundane ones that we have daily.
Cupid brought these little Valentine paint projects that the kids absolutely loves. They enjoyed using their art skills to paint and display them at their place mats.
Valentine’s are always a fun thing for the kids to do. They love writing the names of their friends as well as signing their autograph too. This year they each coordinate a special Valentine for friends based off of their favorite things.
Teachers deserve treats too! We picked out these sweet smelling candles with matching bags and special Valentine’s Day cards.
We also decided to "Cupid" our cousins...sending lots of love in a fun heart-themed bag. Complete with goodies for all!
Food can be so festive and it makes for a special treat of a meal. We had lots of strawberry infused items as well as Heart cinnamon rolls, candy conversation donuts, & V-day sprinkled mini muffins.
And of course the kids wore their best heart kissed attire every chance they got. They look extra adorable in a Valentine’s wardrobe of you ask me!
I got creative this year for Ryan's gift and did a play off the 5 senses: touch, taste, sight, sound & smell. His gifts came wrapped in flirty little Valentine's bags marked with Xs & Os. Touch was a collection of manly essential oils. Taste was an IPA chocolate bar. Sight was a tiny nighty from Victoria Secret. Sound was a classic love songs CD. Smell was Calvin Klein's Intense cologne. They were all a huge hit for my Valentine!
We hope your Valentine’s Day was as sweet as ours!
