We had a beautiful Saturday morning in August picking apples and munching on sweet apple treats last year we explored several local apple orchards so this year we decided to branch out a bit. We headed down to Versailles for some apple picking fun. Eckert’s Boyd Orchard is truly amazing. It is beyond family friendly and every detail has adults and kids in mind. The playground is top notch with enough activities to keep babies, toddlers & big kids alike entertained. The apple orchards are gorgeous and close knit allowing little legs to easily walk and explore. The market shop is lined with fresh fruits & vegetables as well as apple cider donuts, seasonal drinks, & baking mixes plus more. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful; very knowledgeable of the apples in season and wearing big smiles. We all enjoyed ourselves and had a great time!
