Disney: The Happiest Place On Earth

"Laughter is timeless. Imagination has no age. And dreams are forever."
-Walt Disney

We spent the first part of Spring Break at Disney and it truly is the #HappiestPlaceOnEarth. Words cannot describe the amazing time that our family had taking the kids to Disney for the first time. To see the magic and wonder through your own children's eyes is something that touches your heart & soul forever. I will never forget the excitement and pure joy that the kids experienced. A trip that I will cherish in the years to come and forever.

We only told them a few days before that we were going. Adelaide packed her little ladybug suitcase and brought it to the backdoor 5 straight days. Finally, on the 5th day it was time to load it into the car and head to the airport!

Once we arrived at our hotel, Animal Kingdom Lodge, we got settled and checked out the grazing animals outside our room. Then we headed to the pool before dinner at BOMA.

The next morning we could hardly contain our excitement! I was like a kid in a candy store...barely able to sleep all night! Adelaide awoke at 6:30am, popped her head up, and said "Mom can we go to Disney now?!" So off to Magic Kingdom we went for an entire day (7:30am until 9:30pm of #happiness!)...

First stop: Anna & Elsa

on Ariel's Under the Sea

flying with Dumbo

Waiting for Winne the Pooh

Aspen wanted no part of the characters until he saw Ariel...

One of the most special moments: meeting Mickey!

A lunch break at Peso Bills

and of course a Mickey Mouse ice cream!

This little guy had a blast...

One helluva successful day!

The next morning we headed over to Cape May Beach Cafe to have breakfast with Minnie, Donald, & Goofy! I remember eating there when I was 10 years old which is the last time that I had been to Disney! To say that Adelaide enjoyed it would be an understatement!

Then my little princess and I headed to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Disney Springs (the boys walked around and grabbed a Starbucks). She chose Belle as her princess to dress up like and we did the whole nine yards. In her royal dressing chamber, a full Belle costume awaited. She got all dolled up and waited for her fairy godmothers to come!

She could not have been happier to be princess Belle! I love her smile and how sweet she found the entire experience to be. I cannot wait to take her back again and again!

We truly had a magical time. It was short but sweet and utterly perfect for our family at this time. We are looking forward to planning our next Disney vacation!

**PS~ per my friend Rachel's recommendation, I used a guy named Kris to help with all of the arrangements. He is amazing! He planned every bit of our trip, gave us the best suggestions, checked in on us, etc. I highly recommend having him help plan your trip if you are going. It is FREE and he helped make our entire trip run smoothly!**
