Last Saturday we were on the hunt for something to do. Trying to soak up the summer sun before it turns to fall, we wanted to be outside.
Macaroni Kid has been a great source for daily activities in and around Westchester County so I searched their site for ideas.
I found
Lemonade for Leukemia in Port Chester. Started a few years ago when a 5 year old was diagnosed with cancer, the story was reason enough for us to drive the 35 minutes south to buy some lemonade. There was a neighboring park so we played on the swings to work up a thirst. Then headed to the front yard...

I loved every minute of this Saturday morning. Sunshine, lemonade, and a great cause!
