We visited Sheep-to-Shawl over the weekend as a family. One of the best parts about living on the Hudson is the amazing historical Hudson Valley and all it has to offer. There are so many wonderful events year around within miles of our house.
We took a step back in time to see the various processes of how wool literally goes from sheep to shawl. There were skinning, spinning, and dying stations. Plus sheep & duck herding which Adelaide loved!
Farm-to-table food trucks completed our experience as we had lunch picnic style.
Such a great family day and kick-off to our Spring Break 2014 in New York!
