We are half-way through our Summit Series and will face our first big challenge this weekend.
Halfdome.
We will also be camping for an extended amount of time so should I not come back, you will know who "misplaced me." His name is Ryan Thompson. He is tall, slender, nice smile. He's in banking but likes the outdoors on the weekend. (he has recently been referenced in Up In The Air, the movie).
Anyhow, please say a little prayer for us that we arrive safely, don't get eaten by black bears who are wandering the campgrounds (we are two severly meaty people), successfully hike the 16 miles up and back, and maintain our sanity.
Should be complete this adventureous weekend, I will post pics next week.
