After a long anticipated trip home, I couldn't have asked for a better time. We spent the perfect amount of time with family and friends allowing for relaxation as well. This was the first trip home in quite some time that I felt rejuvenated when leaving.
The meeting of the families went well...actually it went great. Shane Corrigan desperately wants to be the nephew of Petey D, and Kinlee likes to call Bishop her own little brother. Bob & Kev had previously met so they just picked up where they left off. Kara & Kendahl seemed to have a lot in common. And Ryan & I loved seeing our families together.
In addition to the meeting of the fams, I also got to meet the Lee side of Ryan's family. It was so exciting to be a part of Emily & Aaron's wedding. The atmosphere, weather, food, and entertainment were wonderful, but nothing beat the company of the weekend.
To top it all of, I loved witnessing the baptism of Bishop. Being a Godmother is an honor for this little guy, and I cannot wait to help him walk in his faith with the Lord.
