Christmas books are a staple in our home during the holidays...kids reading nightly in their beds. Kids reading in the playroom nook. Kids reading to each other. Kids reading to themselves. From The Grinch to the Star to everything in between, I love seeing their little faces delight in the stories of Christmas!

A Thompson Christmas: Bake Treats for Neighbors
One of our favorite holiday traditions is baking poppyseed bread for friends, coaches, teachers & neighbors. This year I had my head elf helping and sometimes her little assistant too :)

A Thompson Christmas: Sing Christmas Carols
Adelaide & I had the best time at Holiday Cirque de Soleil~ Winter Wonderland. Two events in one week at The Palace and it did not disappoint. From the musical elements to the acrobatic stunts, we were oohing and ahhing with laughter in between.
Making these memories with my oldest as the *magic* of Christmas has shifted is priceless!

A Thompson Christmas: Wrap Holiday Gifts
There is something magical about standing in the same spot that my mom did during my childhood… Wrapping Christmas gifts and staring at the beautiful tree. It is the best mixture of old and new, before and after, childhood and adulthood.
I hope one day my children will wrap gifts with care and remember the magical memories that Christmas brings!
