Brighton Kevin: 8 1/2 Years Old

 Dearest Brighton Kevin,

My bright eyed boy, you’re growing up rapidly before my eyes. You have matured so much over the last 6 months. You are emerging as a leader in the classroom & on the field. Your smile is contagious & your joy for life is contagious. 

2nd grade has been so special for you. You’re loving each day with Ms. Hagan & Mrs. Green. You are learning so many new math and reading skills. You received your First Reconciliation with such reverence that I was moved to tears. You relish in prayer daily and your faith has deepened greatly. 

You enjoyed fall soccer including a stellar tournament to end the season in Ohio. Then you adjusted into your second season of futsal where you helped lead your team to a great season. You even had a few key goals {and PK kicks!} to finish 3rd in the tournament. 

You wrapped up the 2023 golf season by finishing 2nd in the Championships! You had an amazing 2 days on the course and I was so proud of your persistence & dedication. Your siblings & I drove down just in time to see the trophy presentation and surprise you. The huge smile on your face was worth the 1 1/2 hour drive...keep shining buddy!

You continue to be a joy~ daily smiling and living life to the fullest. You are a constant reminder that God is good and life is to be lived each & every day. You lead by example and are such a gift to our family!
