A Thompson Summer: Newport Aquarium

The day after 4th of July, we drove up to Newport to spend the morning at the Newport Aquarium. I had not been since the year it opened which was over a decade ago and I knew the kids would love it...so we headed up for some indoor fun!

The kids couldn't get enough of the sea animals, the shark bridge, and the family of penguins. They ran from tank to tank and exhibit to exhibit exploring and enjoying the new sights. What a wonderful summertime activity for us all!

Baby You're a Firework: 4th of July

We spent the 4th of July holiday swimming, playing games, and watching fireworks! Truly an American way to live it up on this day of freedom!

My little firecrackers were all smiles as they enjoyed the festivities. Aspen felt so big playing foosball with the big kids at HCC. He also loves swimming in the baby pool without his floaties...he calls it his swim practice. Brighton took it all in from the swimming to the games to the BBQ. Adelaide got to stay up for the fireworks and she could not get enough of them. She was delighted and amazed at the sight.

We are very thankful for those who fought to find & create this great nation...and we are eternally grateful for the brave who make this the home of the free.
