There were new designs from last year including martians and a happy 10th birthday cake to the blaze. The craftsmanship is like nothing else and was truly amazing again to see. Such a fun Halloween tradition that we have started and will look forward to continuing on!

The Great Jack-O-Lantern Blaze
Last night Whitney, Caileigh, Adelaide & I went to The Great Jack-O-Lantern Blaze. It was a mommy/daughter date night to kick-off our Halloween holiday. The girls absolutely loved their one-on-one time without their pesky little brothers ;) They were in amazement and a little scared of the decorated pumpkins.

Halloween Treats
Yes I am that nerdy mom who absolutely loves that her 2 year old is in 2 Day 2s so that I can make holiday treats for her teachers and classmates. I just can't help myself. I love giving. I love the holidays. I really love giving during the holidays ;)
Ms. Carol & Ms. Rosie are so amazing and have been part of Adelaide's life for quite some time. They were her camp teachers this summer, but they've been at the gym for decades. Adelaide started going to the nursery at Saw Mill when she was 6 weeks old so I've really gotten to know them. They are truly wonderful...so Adelaide wanted to give them bugs & kisses for Halloween!
For her school friends, I mixed up a little boo mix to include mini marshmallows, candy corn, and pumpkin peeps. I put them in these left over treat bags from last year and found a boo mix tag on Pinterest. Ah yes oh I love Pinterest so!
Hopefully you've been treating it up this October and Halloween season!

Kim & Brock: #ThankEvans 2014
The Evans family have always been more than friends. To us, they are family. And I have known Brock since the day he was born. So there was no way we were missing his wedding in New Orleans! Gorgeous weather + beautiful setting + a super fun couple = an EPIC wedding!
Set on the rooftop of The Chicory, the sun was setting as the bride walked down the aisle. The reception followed downstairs with lots of dancing, cupcakes, and drinks!
Terry, Brock's dad passed away years ago...Brock sent him a letter during the ceremony in this balloon released into the sky |

At the end of the night, we "second lined" down to Bourbon Street and ended at Pat O'Briens. Its an awesome NOLA tradition and was a great way to the end the night!
