The Thompson Christmas Bucket List: Drive to See Christmas Lights

Last year we had a little mishap on our first attempt to see Lights Under Louisville (as in we waited 45 minutes to get to the entrance only to realize that it was cash ONLY and we had NO cash!) so this year I wanted to avoid any such repeat...

So we headed there early on a Sunday night to beat the rush with lots of CASH in hand! Ha turns out this year they are accepting credit cards!

We picked up Mimi on the way and enjoyed the lights just as the sun was setting. The kids, mom, & I had a great time listening to the Christmas music and seeing the new display of lights. The kids kept pointing out different things along the way: Santa, penguins, Rudolph, ice skaters, diggers, Olaf, and more!

I love seeing all of the lights coupled with the matching tunes. It really puts you in the holiday spirit!
