A Kickin' Goal Time: Brighton Turns 4

This little soccer player had the best 4th Birthday party at Mockingbird Soccer.  He’s been taking soccer for 3 years there and absolutely loves it.  It was the first sport he got to do and he fully embraced being big enough to do sports since he had been admiring his siblings for years while playing their respective sports.  He had so much fun on the field with silly games courtesy of Coach Phil & Coach Abby. Off the field, he loved snacking with his friends and being sung to. The cutest cupcakes from Sweets by Millie made for the perfect sweet treat for all! It was a joy to celebrate this big 4 year old with a Kickin’ Goal time had by all!

The Thompson Fall Bucket List: Pick Apples From an Orchard

A few weekends ago, we ventured down to Eckert’s Orchard to pick some apples for fall. We first visited this gem in Versailles last year and the kids raves about it for weeks. With a plethora of activities for all ages, we decided this would be the perfect place to kick off our fall bucket list items.

A tractor ride out to the orchard, picking oodles of apples for all, feeding baby goats, sliding down slides with a sack, tractor races, and camel rides were among the highlights. Plus a snack break complete with apple cider and apple cinnamon donuts made for the best day!
