Salem Lucille: 18 Months

    Dearest Salem Lucille,

You are the biggest ham of a baby girl! Your zest for life continues and people often remark how happy & smiley you always are to them. You smile from sun up to sun down. Your new favorite trick is to wave all the time; to anyone who is coming or going. You take such pride in greeting people.

You are a moving machine and into everything. Walking and wondering all around the house. You love to climb the stairs and explore in your room. You have also learned to walk down the stairs. You hold onto the railing and cautiously take it step by step. You typically say "mama" all the way down to let me know just how big you are!

You are eating every type of food and drinking milk & juice. You transitioned easily from the bottle to a sippy cup. Some days you want to be just like your siblings & drink from a water bottle. You love dessert and your favorite thing is the small dum-dum suckers from the nursery at Blairwood.

You have pretty much all of your teeth which has been a smooth transition for the most part. You weathered the storm well with them compared to your older siblings. You use them to chew big pieces of food and to bite on your paci!

You love talking/babbling. Often times in the car you will hold your play phone up to your ear and "talk." I get such a kick out of watching you in my rear-view mirror. You just crack yourself up too!

You are a smart little cookie and know so much more than you articulate with words. You are constantly observing the world around you which makes for such fun times. You love to help everyone and can usually be found giving your toys/snacks to others.

I cannot wait to see what life continues to bring with you!

    I love you!

    Love,

    Mommy

    EGGcellent Easter Events: April 2019

With Easter into late April this year, we had plenty of time to indulge in treats & sweets. From Rice Krispie nests and chocolate eggs to glitter painting plastic eggs; to surprises from the little Chick to a bunny-themed breakfast; to decorating cookies and sipping on Cadbury egg milkshakes to dying and decorating Easter eggs; to egg hunts and petting-zoos; to celebrating the Resurrection of Christ. We enjoyed every bit of Easter and the tradition that it brings!
