Happily Ever Ash: A Bridal Shower

The cap end of our trip was a bridal shower for the future Mrs. Ash aka my baby sister Taylor. Her fabulous friends threw her the sweetest brunch-themed party. We enjoyed mimosas, champagne cake balls, a delicious brunch, and girl talk.

It is such a bittersweet feeling to have this little babe getting married. It makes me feel olddddd and is hard to swallow sometimes because I remember the day Taylor was born. I remember so much about watching her grow up, mature, and become a lady. I have seen her growing pains, her heartbreaks, and her fears. She is the last of the Collins kids to wed making it mark the end of an era so to speak.

I am so excited that she has found the love of her life, Robbie. He is such a kind man who has embraced our entire family since day one (nieces and nephews included!). He has been her rock and treated her like a princess. That is the type of brother-in-law I aspire to have and I wish them a lifetime of love & happiness!

A Kentucky Summer: Visiting Family & Friends

We had an absolute blast in Kentucky! We played hard, laughed often, and filled up our love tank. Trips to the zoo with baby Sawyer, jumping fun at House of Boom, loads of swimming, spending time on the farm with Uncle Shane & Aunt Amanda, sunbathing, a little tennis, snuggling up on the couch, seeing Finding Dory on opening day, giving Mimi a run for her money, and much more.

We couldn't have had a better time with our family. These are the memories that the kids & I will cherish for a lifetime. Soaking up sweet summertime and family all rolled into one!
