A Thompson Christmas: See a Christmas Play

We had the joy of seeing two Christmas plays this year...The Nutcracker & A Fairytale Christmas. We enjoyed seeing our sweet Rosie and several other friends in a beautiful rendition of The Nutcracker. The performance was superb. Salem & Brighton loved the special Friday night out with Mom. 

We also loved our holiday tradition of seeing the Christmas play at Derby Dinner. The show was A Fairytale Christmas which showcased all of the princesses and their holiday season. This is always a hit with our kids~ yummy breakfast, a play, and seeing Santa plus Mrs. Clause!

Celebrating our 12th Year

 To celebrate our 12 year wedding anniversary, Ryan & I enjoyed a little overnight getaway to Dant Crossing. Only a short drive away, but we felt like we were in a quaint space. It was an incredible campus~ with walking paths, a beautiful pond and a distillery. 

We enjoyed sleeping in, tasting bourbon cocktails, dining together, and simply spending lazy days with one another. We are always better when we can reconnect and go back to our dating days.
