Who doesn't love a freshly baked apple pie? Especially when its ingredients include a labor of love and the sweetest apples hand picked by the "professionals" aka my little babes! We had a great time selecting the apples from our bunch to be sliced, diced & peeled. Stirring the filling is always an exciting time and helping to pour over the baking dish brings a special joy to the kids. And of course, taste testing is the very best part!
