The Thompson Fall Bucket List: Pick Apples From an Orchard

A few weekends ago, we ventured down to Eckert’s Orchard to pick some apples for fall. We first visited this gem in Versailles last year and the kids raves about it for weeks. With a plethora of activities for all ages, we decided this would be the perfect place to kick off our fall bucket list items.

A tractor ride out to the orchard, picking oodles of apples for all, feeding baby goats, sliding down slides with a sack, tractor races, and camel rides were among the highlights. Plus a snack break complete with apple cider and apple cinnamon donuts made for the best day!
