The Thompson Christmas Bucket List: Mail a Letter to Santa

Sparky has been leaving the sweetest Christmas finds for the kids each morning. He spotted these Mickey & Minnie letter to Santa kits at the post office last year (wink wink)! With Adelaide excelling  in her writing and practicing it weekly at school & home as well as Aspen learning to write his name and letter recognition, writing letters to Santa was such a fun & educational experience. Plus I am really trying to get use out of the precious Letters to Santa mailbox that I got from Hearth & Home at Target. It is the perfect mailbox for magic mail being sent to the North Pole!

 

A fresh batch of Christmas tree sugar cookies sat waiting for them upon arriving home from school. It was the perfect seasonal treat to fuel their appetite and their creative juices. They all enjoyed making their Christmas wish lists for Santa and reporting their behavior for his naughty/nice list. We even made one for Salem.

 




I look forward to making this a yearly tradition and adding it to our Christmas bucket list for years to come!
