We had so much fun in the month of November. We kicked off Thanksgiving time with a turkey-themed breakfast and some festive goodies. The kids loved their turkey pancakes and their new Thanksgiving books the most. Gobble & Thankful are two little stuffed animal turkeys who found their way to our house which the kids snuggled with each night.
Brighton & Salem made turkey hand prints to add to our Thanksgiving decor. The older kids made these back in 2014 so it was fun to make them with the newest additions to our family. We also disguised a silly turkey for Adelaide's school project. As she said, teamwork gets the job done. Our little family turkey turned out perfect! One night we even made Pilgrim hats for the kids to wear and enjoy. They loved decorating the hats with fall decor and I loved watching them encourage one another.
A Wednesday night homework assignment for Adelaide included if she were a turkey...
Thanks to Chick-fil-A's kids meal, we found a fun recipe for pumpkin pie parfait and indulged in this sweet traditional pumpkin dessert. The kids made their own which made it extra sweet. They loved scooping the ingredients into their cups...taste testing everything of course!
The kids handed out "cornacopia" treats to their friends at school...and we enjoyed a Thanksgiving Feast with Aspen's class!
We had a family Thanksgiving dinner with all the Collins crazies at Mimi & Papas as well as a little brunch at HCC!
Of course there were lots of Thanksgiving outfits complete with turkeys, pilgrims, and Indians!
I am so very thankful for these 4 sweet babies. They light up my life in a way that I never knew was possible. Giving Thanks to God for all of his blessings!
