The Jungle Book: A Movie Review

A few weeks ago, Adelaide & I had a mommy/daughter date of a movie and dinner. I have come to love this time with her as she is old enough now to appreciate it and to see her eyes light up with one-on-one attention is so magical for me.

I let her watch two movie trailers and pick which one she would prefer. It was between The Jungle Book and Zootopia. So not surprised when she picked The Jungle Book. She loves animals and she loves real life movies like her mom.

The movie was amazing, truly it was. From the plot to the characters to the life lessons, it pulled at my heart and mind. A different perspective of the greater world- animals and humans. How we came to be and how we can get along in harmony.

Adelaide watched through covered eyes on some parts...but she is so my child. She would say, "Mommy cover my eyes," then peep through them and say, "I can't see mommy." I do the same thing in scary movies such as the Saw series!

If you haven't seen it, definitely treat yourself. You won't be disappointed! And if you have a little one who loves the world and all its wonder, he/she will probably love it too!
