Adelaide's Puppy Paw-ty

On Saturday, this little princess turned 2...

We threw her a Puppy Paw-ty because well she is obsessed with puppies and has been ever since she could move and talk. Beau was her 3rd word and puppy wasn't far behind. She has been known to chase any puppy, anywhere. She literally can't get enough of them! So it was only fitting to have a puppy-themed party.

We had great weather so we were able to play outside and enjoy the summer sun. We munched on "puppy" treats like fetch sticks, pup-corn, chewy treats, puppy chow mix, pup-cakes, and water bowls. We cooled off with lemonade, Rose wine, and beer.

We played with four little puppies. Dressed them up. Fed them treats. And loved on them for hours.

We sang "Happy Birthday" to the sweetest little 2 year old and indulged in the most delicious cake around.

We are so grateful for family and friends who were able to help us celebrate Adelaide Jane's 2nd birthday!

The Road to Turning Two

I'm a total birthday person. I believe in celebrating big time...especially when it comes to my kids! So I wanted to make sure the week leading up to Adelaide's 2nd birthday was filled with lots of fun & many of her favorite things!

We visited with animals big & small at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center as well as Muscoot Farms where Adelaide helped put the animals "night night."

We spent a lot of time splashing around in the water...at the pool, the splash park, and anywhere in between.

We stopped by the Chappaqua library for storybooks-turned-short-films.

We played with our friends and met their new siblings!
